Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 6, 2026

ServiceHarness ("ServiceHarness", "we", "us") is an AI revenue assistant for home-service businesses. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the ServiceHarness web application and website.

Information you provide

When you create an account we collect your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider; we never see or store your password in plaintext). As you use ServiceHarness you may add business information — company profile, services and pricing, service locations, documents, competitors — and customer contact records you import or enter (names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, job and quote history, notes).

Information from connected Google accounts

ServiceHarness lets you optionally connect a Google account to power specific features. We only request the scopes each feature needs, and each connection is initiated by you:

  • Gmail (read and send): we sync recent messages to build a unified customer communication timeline, detect likely leads, and let you send replies you approve — from your own mailbox. Drafts are never sent without your explicit approval.
  • Google Calendar (view and edit events): to show your schedule inside ServiceHarness and create or update appointments you approve.
  • Google Analytics and Search Console (read-only): to report your website traffic and search performance and to generate SEO recommendations.

ServiceHarness's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use data

  • To provide the product: dashboards, agents, timelines, scheduling, and reporting.
  • To generate AI suggestions (for example drafted messages, schedules, and content). Relevant business context is processed by our AI provider to produce these suggestions.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use data obtained through Google APIs to train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and we do not serve advertising based on it.

Storage, sharing, and service providers

Your data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase, and the application is hosted on Vercel. AI features are processed by Anthropic. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to perform the actions described above on your behalf. We share data only with these service providers as needed to run ServiceHarness, or if required by law. Human access to Google user data is limited to what is necessary for security, compliance, or support you request.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect Google or Microsoft accounts at any time from within ServiceHarness, which stops syncing; you can also revoke ServiceHarness's access from your Google Account permissions. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at patrickman6@gmail.com and we will delete it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Questions? Email patrickman6@gmail.com.
